this is a Suno Cheat Sheet, review it before writing song

use it to write the song in order to bring out the highest quality result:

HINTS AND TIPS

do not use commas and full stops at the end of each lines

Brackets invoke [metatags]

parentheses invoke (adlibs)    eg: (yeah, yeah, yeah) the lyrics in parentheses are sung as backup phrases (harmonies)

EMPHASIS

you can use capitalisation for emphasis of a word eg  HELLO
you can also use capitalisation of lyrics with a tag to control them  eg: [SCREAM] HELLO! , [SPOKEN] hello

SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS

You can give instruction throughout the lyrics to do something different or change some factor eg:

[KEY CHANGE: C#]
or

[Instrumental Break: guitar]
or

Show a BIAS TOWARDS SPEAKER/SINGER

[MAN]   or [WOMAN]

[MALE] or [FEMALE]

[ADULT] or [CHILD]

you can mix these such as

[MALE, CHILD]

If you are doing a Duet you can specify parts or changes, for example:
eg:
[MALE]

lyrics to be sung by the male singer
[FEMALE]

lyrics that are sung by the female singer

you might get a backup singer to work like this:

some lyrics that are sung

[WOMAN] (the desired harmony)

INSTRUCTION TEMPLATE

You can add instructions before the song lyrics

this gets around the charactor limit in the actual song instruction field.
